Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is an 8 week training program

(plus an orientation meeting) developed by the University of Massachusetts.

It empowers participants to be more involved in their health and wellness.

MBSR was developed in 1979 by Jon Kabat-Zinn. It empowers participants to be more involved in their health and wellness. Four decades of scientific research indicate that mindfulness training has a significant therapeutic effect for those experiencing stress, anxiety, and chronic pain. MBSR also has a positive effect on your immune system, your sleep, and helps lower blood pressure.
